My name is Josh and I am a junk food addict! My love of unhealthy food knows no bounds, from deliciously buttery puff pastry pies to salted caramel truffles and Crispy mayonnaise and cheese filled french baguettes to crisps, chocolate, and popcorn.
Yep, I am a slave to Junk food, which is crazy seeing that I live in Thailand and have some amazingly healthy food choices surrounding me every day. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love Thai food, especially the deep fried donuts, the sickly sweet coconut deserts and the deep-fried chicken with sweet chili sauce but it’s not so kind to my waistline.
Well, now things have got to change. See, I’m getting married this year and my ever expanding waistline is no longer appreciated. I mean, who wants to be a lardy bucket of fat on their wedding day? not me! That’s for sure.
So … as of 12/03/17 I have kicked the junk food to the kerb and started a VLCD (Very low carb diet) Measuring in at 6ft 1″ and 192lbs I am to be down to 158lbs within the next 90 days.
I am going to use this blog as my motivation and log every detail that will help to keep me on track, and hopefully help others along the way. So, I’m ready to start this journey, are you?
